Sandhya loves to sing more than anything and that’s what she tells everyone else!. Our singer is a BBA graduate with a Diploma in Fashion from IIFT, Bangalore who is currently undergoing training in Indian Carnatic Music after a crash course in Western Classical Music. She always had music in her blood but she had begun to sing and be noticed only after her marriage.
Yes, that is correct she is a wife and a devoted mother with a strong heart to follow her passion.
Her passion is her music and she has always found ways to be a model to other women thinking of following their passions. Even the pandemic could not stop her from pursuing her passions as she simply shifted to online learning. Many of the people her age tend to simply give up, but for this nightingale, age is just a number and all the hardships she faces in her life are simply more hurdles to overcome. And thus, she never stops!.
The song 'Nee Vaanam Naan Mazhai' was certainly a stepping stone to Sandhya's singing career which was produced by her beloved Aunt Uma Loknath. The melodious song which was bilingual (Tamil - Malayalam) had the beautiful voices of Sandhya and the talented Amal Augustine. This romantic song featured the Social Media Sensation Priya Prakash Warrier alongside the talented Nitin Nagappan Nair.
Sandhya has been able to share venues with many of the prominent voices in the industry in such a short span of time, been part of many musical albums, and have had her own musical compositions in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, etc. She is also now part of our Litebox Community and she continues to be an inspiration to all women who wish to follow their passion.
