Being an artist is not so rewarding in a country like India. The talented still remain unrecognized and undiscovered. I have always loved being a part of a film project, whether it’s in front of the camera or miles away giving suggestions/ideas through the phone. And it has become even harder in these troubling times. From my experience, the only way you can start to become part of good projects in the industry is not just by building relations but also by showcasing a good portfolio of your completed works.
This is why I was drawn instantly to the idea of building a collaboration platform for Artists with my friends to help them start new projects, collaborate on other projects, earn from projects and showcase their works to potential backers. We named it Litebox and we started off with the vision of building Litebox as the "LinkedIn for Indian Artists".
Now Litebox has the potential to bring talents from any part of the world and make them collaborate easily for various projects. Struggling artists like me and others could not only showcase our portfolio in Litebox. But there is a higher chance of getting associated with a new project as well. The best thing about Litebox is that you will become part of a like-minded community where your talents will get recognized and rewarded.
